Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26th, 1978) was born in the city of Campinas in Sao Paulo. She has acted as a character in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira became a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March of 2020. The analyst she is working with currently overseeing the Assassination Witness project, and is an integral member of the the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement group. She is primarily interested in the illegal market, disappearances and assassinations. Her interests in research also focus on the effects of organized crime on human and humanitarian rights as well as legislation and policies. Ana Paula received an LL.M.cum honors degree from the field of International Law, from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She also holds obtained an LL.M. qualification in Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula is a graduate of her school at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with the degree of magnacum laude in Legal Sciences and Social Sciences. She was a trained lawyer who spent four years at an attorney firm for public law. Past experiences include assisting in roles with non-governmental agencies located in Rio de Janeiro or Geneva.
