Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the teenager age. Aspen Ladd trained in kickboxing, BJJ, wrestling and boxing before her professional debut at WCFC aged 18. Ladd felt more confident following the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated during the first round. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen by unanimous decision. It left a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd rebounded from her defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first bout in the Bantamweight division. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to take out McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in an "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd did not make weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy by using TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimity. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina by grounding and pounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO in second round. Ladd remained in the lead, and won an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd won the fight in round one and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd won the fight of the night bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in hard in a tense back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and finish Ladd and her streak. The third time she fought on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her most recent fight with the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
