Robyn Rihanna Fenty, often known as Rihanna by Barbadians, is a singer/songwriter. Her most popular songs are Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella, and Take a Bow. Rihanna is an extremely well-known artist, who has sold more than 41 million albums worldwide and more than 150 million songs. Born in Barbados she was raised listening to reggae music and began singing while she was young. Unhappy with the chaos in her family and the constant arguments between her parents she immersed her self in music. She before long realized that she wanted to be an accomplished singer. When she was in high school, she started a group of musicians and was able to meet producer Evan Rodgers. He was stunned by her talent. She moved to New York so that she was able to pursue a full-time singing career. Rihanna dropped her first album and was an overnight sensation. The young crowd was captivated by her catchy songs which had them on their feet, and this brought her into the world of film. Today, she's a teenager model and a fashion icon. Rihanna is known for charity and regularly contributes to various charitable causes.
